Accessibility
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. It is a motion-rich site, so particular care has been taken with users who prefer or need reduced motion.
What the site does
- Reduced motion respected. If your system requests reduced motion, all film sequences, scroll effects and animations are replaced with static imagery and plain scrolling. Nothing auto-plays.
- Sound is off by default and only ever starts from an explicit button press.
- Keyboard navigable. All interactive elements (navigation, menu, sound toggle, form fields) are reachable and operable by keyboard; the mobile menu closes with Escape.
- Legible contrast. Copy is rendered over darkened backdrops with a contrast-preserving tint layer.
- Semantic structure. Landmarks, headings and labels are provided for assistive technology; decorative media is hidden from screen readers.
Known limitations of this draft
- Background film sequences have no narrative audio and therefore no captions; they are decorative and marked as such.
- A formal accessibility audit has not yet been carried out. [To be commissioned before go-live.]
